Meret Lüthi awarded the «GOLDEN BOW»
For over twenty years, the Foundation of the Swiss Violin Making School has honoured renowned artists with the «Golden Bow» for outstanding achievements.
The winner of the Golden Bow 2024 is Meret Lüthi, violinist and artistic director of the early music orchestra «Les Passions de l'Âme». With this honour, she joins an illustrious line-up of artists who already hold this prize, among others Chiara Banchini, Isabelle Faust, Patricia Kopatchinskaja, Kim Kashkashian, Antje Weithaas, Hans Heinz Schneeberger, Tabea Zimmermann, Thomas and Patrick Demenga, Thomas Füri, Thomas Zehetmair and many more.
The jury honours Meret Lüthi for the development of her internationally renowned orchestra «Les Passions de l'Âme» and for sharing her impressive inventiveness and captivating programmes with audiences for over 15 years.
