Alternative History at Triskel Arts Centre to celebrate 40th Anniversary

8pm | Friday 2 March, 2018

2018 is a big year at Triskel Arts Centre as they celebrate 40 years and celebrate the 300th Anniversary of their venue Christchurch. Alternative History is a project that brings together singers Anna Maria Friman and John Potter with lutenists Ariel Abramovich and Jacob Heringman. The project is inspired by the practice of renaissance musicians rearranging the A Cappella polyphony of their predecessors and contemporaries for voices and lutes.

On European Day of Early Music, Wednesday 21 March and RTÉ Lyric fm will broadcast the concert in its entirety. European Broadcasting Union stations will also broadcast throughout Europe in 2018.
