Laus Polyphoniae 2021, Josquin: a series of documentary concerts

20 to 29 August 2021

Laus Polyphoniae, the summer festival of AMUZ, and the Alamire Foundation, International Centre for the Study of Music in the Low Countries, have put great care into a series of virtual documentary concerts concerning the masses of Josquin des Prez. They feature new recordings of the masses for which there is evidence that they were certainly written by Josquin des Prez himself. The collaboration with around twenty of the best musicologists from universities all over the world is unique. The Alamire Foundation has opted for a combination of young, upcoming talent such as Jesse Rodin from Stanford University (USA) and world-famous emeriti such as David Fallows from the University of Manchester (GB). You will be able to tune into all the documentaries and concerts at Laus Polyphoniae 2021 online and free of charge: ww.polyphonyconnects.com
