New Year, New Festival, New Music - Geelvinck Early Piano Festival
From Noriko Koide’s 2008 Hyssop to Beethoven’s 1803 Eroica, the Geelvinck Early Piano Festival continues to breathe new life into the early piano. Now, with brand new recordings for 2021, the online festival presents artists including Richard Egarr, Alexandra Nepomnyashchaya, Olga Pashchenko and Keiko Shichijo, celebrating music from Japan to Canada to Austria. This international combination of music both old and new will be played out on the backdrop of beautiful castles, alongside tales of times gone by, as part of our new festival series the Bashkir’s Ship Bridge and Beethoven and the Romantic Period in Gelderland. New episodes streaming throughout January: see the Geelvinck Early Piano Festival's website for more details!
