Capella de Ministrers delves into the universe of Leonardo da Vinci with the album "Música Grotesca"
Capella de Ministrers, an ensemble conducted by Carles Magraner, has released a new album called "Música Grotesca." The album is inspired by the work of Leonardo da Vinci and based on the suggestions of musicologist Pepe Rey, features a selection of pieces from the 13th to 16th centuries by various composers, including Juan del Encina, Mateo Flecha el Viejo, Michael Praetorius, Giovanni da Nola, Orlando di Lasso, Lorenzo de Medici, and Adriano Banchieri.
The work, is undertaken from the collection of etchings and exhibition by Mariano Moret on the grotesque heads of the Italian polymath and artist.
