WE ARE LOOKING FOR
8 singers who wish to deepen their skills in vocal ensemble with Early Baroque music.
Target participants: advanced voice students, graduates, and early-career professionals with a strong interest in Early Music.
Vocal distribution:
- 2 Sopranos
- 2 Altos (including countertenors or haute-contres)
- 2 Tenors
- 2 Baritone or Bass voices
PROGRAMME
Focus on four- and eight-part vocal works with basso continuo from the first half of the 17th century.

- Georg Kroneis (Violone)
Main repertoire:
- Heinrich Schütz – Motets from Cantiones Sacrae
- Giovanni Valentini – Missa Susanne un jour
- Additional duets and solo motets may be included
WE OFFER
- Free participation in the Palais Attems Vocal Academy at the most beautiful house in Graz
- Four days of intensive course work with workshops and lectures
- Final concert as part of the Styriarte Festival, designed by the participants at Minoritensaal Graz as part of the Styriarte Festival.
Also included:
- Travel costs (preferably by train)
- Hotel accommodation in Graz (single room with breakfast) from July 12–18, 2025
- Per diem: €30/day
- Feldenkrais sessions
