Via Mediaeval
From 08 September 2024 to 06 October 2024/ Germany / Surbourg, Klingenmünster, Hornbach, Speyer, Ludwigshafen, Otterberg & Offenbach-Hundheim
The Via Mediaeval Festival will take place from September 8th to October 6th. For the 2024 edition, we turn our focus to our neighboring countries in Southern Europe. Following the partner concert with Voix-Route-Romane in Surbourg by Ensemble Into the Winds, the Greek Ensemble Ex Silentio will inaugurate the festival with the program "In Exilium - Poets and Musicians in Exile at Aristocratic Courts in the South."
A total of six concerts will feature Ensemble Into the Winds, Ensemble Ex Silentio, Ensemble Graces & Voices, the Greek Choir Maistores tis Psaltikis Texnis, Ensemble laReverdie, Ensemble Sanstierce, and Ensemble analógion. These performances will take place at historical medieval sites in Rhineland-Palatinate, offering audiences a journey to the roots of European music history.
