Comme un air de Bach - The Queen's Flying Squadron

This concert features two cantatas by Johann Sebastian Bach, composed shortly after he moved to Leipzig: 'Nun komm der heiden heiland' BWV 62 and 'Ach Herr, mich armen Sunder' BWV 135. The ensemble, made up for the occasion of nine instrumentalists and four singers, will also perform a number of motets and arias by Johann Christoph and Johann Michael Bach, two relatives far less well known than the illustrious Cantor.
