Utrecht Early Music Festival – Burgundy
24 August – 2 September 2018
From 24 August to 2 September 2018, the Utrecht Early Music Festival will take place for the 37th time. Organised across the beautiful city centre of Utrecht, this Festival edition is entirely dedicated to Burgundy: a spectacular programme focused on music from the often neglected 14th and 15th centuries. This time no famous names of the 16th century, but relatively unknown and underappreciated 15th-century composers such as Grenon, Tapissier and Vide. Curator in residence is Björn Schmelzer with his ensemble Graindelavoix. More information and tickets are available through the Early Music Festival website.
