Real baroque music or fake music?
The fact that still living composers write in the baroque style is a charming experiment for them, because they cannot fade out their socialization and experiences, despite being deeply immersed in historical contexts, can they? In any case, the audience is asked to distinguish the original baroque from the fake one. Uncertainty thereby inspires insight and sharpens the ear for productive deviations from stylistic devices and conventions, whereby deviations are not unusual even within the time frame of an epoch.
